It's a little unfair that the annual No Pants Metro Ride always takes place about a week after New Year's resolution time. Most people simply aren't ready -- yet -- to show thigh, let alone cheek.
Still, for Angelenos brave enough to bare almost all, your mission is this: meet an "agent" at any one of 5 metro locations on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 1 p.m.
From there, teams (led by ride captains) will all meet at Union Station, where you'll spend about 30 minutes delighting and disturbing normal metro riders. Afterward, you'll ride en masse to the Hollywood Metro station for a group photo and a "debrief" (ha!) at a local bar or restaurant.
A few tips for intrepid day-trippers from event organizers Guerilla Improv: bring your pants in a bag with you (for just in case situations), try to act casual, don't disturb regular metro riders and be discreet about taking photos.
