Microsoft's New Terms of Service to Block Class Action Suits

Microsoft will be making use of the ruling by the Supreme Court to block class action suits against the corporation. A ruling last year allowed companies to settle complaints with customers on an individual basis, but does not support class action suits by a group of complainants. Microsoft has already begun changing over the user agreements to reflect the new policy. "Our policy gives Microsoft powerful incentives to resolve any dispute to the customer's satisfaction before it gets to arbitration and our arbitration provisions will be among the most generous in the country".
